Happy Birthday Annalise

My baby girl is now 3 years old. She has been so excited about her birthday for weeks she has been saying “Kuai le Day is coming” (that is Chinese for Birthday) “cake is coming but I have to wait”. Last Saturday her wait was over. We had her birthday a week early due to the looming move coming in a few weeks. We had a backyard BBQ with family and friends. She awake from her nap to find her Lau Lau and Pop Pop here with CAKE Here big day had arrived her first American Birthday. She had the time of her life with all the toys I was able to surprise her with. She has no idea how many toys her Mama really has access too. The Parashoot was a big hit and you would of thought she had done it before. There was a ball pit, hula hops, and wild swing trick by the big kids. Fun for all and of course there was cake and plenty of it. At the end of the night she tore into the presents and found her very own Kai Lan doll she yelled “Surprise you Mom” (she doesn’t use her you and me correctly) it was so wonderful to see her so happy to have something she really likes. Today we will be going to the beach flying a kite, she loves kites, and then out to dinner and you bet ya more cake.
So happy to see Lau Lau and Pop Pop
