Last year we did not have time or the energy to put up a Christmas tree. Life was a bit out of control last year but this year is year Annalise is sure getting into the Christmas spirit. After the tree sat in the living room for 3 days, she had no idea why, we broke out the lights and all ourfavorite ordainments. Her words to be exact
“oh boy oh boy I can’t believe it”
We have had a few more visits with Santa she thinks he is her new best friend. Could be that her favorite male figures all have gray hair and white beards, well sometimes. Christmas is so wonderful through the eyes of a child. I feel like a kid all over again. I too was in love with Santa. We have one more week of school left and then we are heading down to Shell Beach for Christmas. I will be glad to not be having a white Christmas this year last week we pulled a low of –12. Now that’s cold and we are happy to be back in the 30’s. Well better get working on those Christmas Cards or they will become New Years cards really soon.
